In her new album ‘Perfekt World’ singer and songwriter Clara Lofaro brings two worlds together under one roof on her latest cd.

Lofaro combines traditional and modern styles of music to create soulful and upbeat tracks that will appeal to a large variety of people.

Perfekt World is Lofaro’s third album on ComeTrue Records and was the 2006 Toronto Indie Week winner.

The songs range from jazzy to rock and R&B to pop but each track seems to follow a path.

The songs on each track have passionate words and an underlying message and are creative at the same time.

Lofaro wrote each and every song on her album and although some of the words may be somewhat unorthodox her way of expressing herself fits with the content of the song.

Her song ‘Perfekt World’ voices the theme of love and its conditions while the track ‘Birds of a Feather’ is a more mellow song about the complications of life and being torn in two directions.

‘Perfekt World’ was produced by Mark Turrigiano and is in line with her other albums with music comparable to the sounds of Amy Winehouse and John Legend.

Lofaro’s creativity, soul and interesting lyrics ask for more than just listening and makes you feel the message that she tries to get across.
