Ponoka Jubilee Library hosted the Central Alberta Fanfest Cosplay Cafe on Aug. 13.

Participants delved deep into the world of fiction with cosplay and trivia contests as well as a Pokemon scavenger hunt.

The experienced category winner was Emily Hill in her cosplay of the character Kanao Tsuyuri from Demon Slayer.

The beginner cosplay winner was Jack Thomas as Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon.

The family category was won by the group “Princesses Gone Mad” which were Alana and Naomi Lafont. Princess Peach and Princess Daisy were their characters (they took a dark spin of the Mario brother characters).
