Thursday, Dec. 12 was the first showing of the Lacombe ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint's live outdoor nativity pageant and indoor creche display.
The nativity is an annual, free event that is open to the community to enjoy, watch or participate in. Members of the community are invited to come and watch the nativity, then come inside to see the creche (nativity scenes) display and have a hot chocolate or apple cider and treats.
The nativity runs for two more nights: Friday Dec. 13 and Saturday, Dec. 14. Showtimes are at 6:30, 7, 7:30 and 8 p.m.
The church is located at 4049 63 Ave., Lacombe, across from the airport.
