Dear Editor:
I would just like to thank the RCMP and the Alberta Sheriffs for enforcing the school zones on Feb. 24. I am sure that standing outside doing radar is not very enjoyable when it is -35 degrees C with the wind chill.
There are too many people who speed through the school zones, not to mention the amount of people going through the 4-way stops. It is only a matter of time before someone gets hit and seriously injured.
So again, thanks for braving the cold temperatures and helping to keep Ponoka’s school zones and streets safe. Hats off to you.
