Litterbugs not this Kyle and Courtney

This letter is in regards to last week’s mention of a Kyle and Courtney dumping their garbage on Marlene York’s property

Dear Editor:

This letter is in regards to last week’s mention of a Kyle and Courtney dumping their garbage on Marlene York’s property. We have been approached several times and have received numerous phone calls about the letter, “Rural areas not a dump.”

It is a coincidence that our names are Kyle and Courtney and by the newspaper publishing those first names in the complaint, we received many accusations about the incident. This is a small town and this has caused us a lot of unnecessary grief.

I think it is irresponsible of the Ponoka News to have published this letter without taking into consideration that there is more than one Kyle and Courtney living in or passing through this community.
