Stampede goer reacts to concert music

Dear Editor; We attended the June 26th concert featuring Shane Yellowbird and George Canyon. These guys are really good singers, but thanks to whoever was in charge of the sound made them sound awful, like loud is better, I don’t think so. Even the metal floor below our feet vibrated up in the stands. Not everyone likes loud.

Dear Editor;

We attended the June 26th concert featuring Shane Yellowbird and George Canyon. These guys are really good singers, but thanks to whoever was in charge of the sound made them sound awful, like loud is better, I don’t think so. Even the metal floor below our feet vibrated up in the stands. Not everyone likes loud.

On June 30 we attended the talent night, we sat there until the fourth or fifth contestant some were loud, too loud and some were really good but because it was too loud they sounded awful.

We will never waste our money on concerts at the Ponoka Stampede. We talked to quite a few people who made the same statement. Maybe young people like loud but we’re not all young.
