Time to elect some independent MPs

Dear Editor:

Provincial and federal elections are looming in the near future.

Do we want another elected government dictatorship? That’s all we know. As long as we have the party system of government, it’s a dictatorship. That was proven last fall when gun control came up. The Liberal leader stated on television that his party would vote as he told them to. All parties are the same they — just haven’t said so out loud.

The only alternative to this dictatorship government is to elect independent members, that way they will represent the people who elected them.

Let’s get up out of our rocking chairs and get independent members to run. It’s working in Sweden and Hawaii.

There are three ways to do things — the right way, the wrong way, and my way.

Let’s give it a try.
