To celebrate Alberta Seniors’ Week, entertainer and former 840 CFCW morning announcer Danny Hooper, is hitting the road to personally thank the fans who have supported him throughout the years.
Recognizing these individuals as his "original fans," Hooper is embarking on a special Seniors’ Appreciation Tour to bring his unique brand of entertainment directly to them.
From Monday, June 2 to Friday, June 6, Danny and his wife Barb will travel across CFCW’s listening area in their Grove RV. Their mission is to visit a minimum three seniors’ homes and lodges each day, offering residents an intimate performance filled with classic country music, engaging stories, and personal visits.
"As I celebrate my 50th year in the music business, many of these are the folks who were with me from the early days," said Hooper in a press release.
"This tour is a heartfelt thank you for their incredible support over the years. I can't wait to share some music and connect with them."
