Maskwacis RCMP continue to look for a suspect involved in a shooting after responding to a call of a female shot in Samson Cree Nation May 18, 2022.
The victim was treated on scene for serious but non-life threatening injuries before being taken to a local area hospital. No others were injured and the suspect fled the area prior to police arriving.
Maskwacis RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) have taken over the investigation and are requesting the public’s assistance for information related to the shooting.
They are asking that any residents, especially those in the area of the Enclaves on the Samson Townsite May 18, 2022, between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., to report any suspicious activity they may have seen.
