A man is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a shooting in the Samson Cree Nation Townsite, and police are now looking for suspects.
The incident happened at 1:30 p.m. on April 25, police announced Tuesday (May 3).
The suspect fled the scene before RCMP officers arrived. The man was treated by paramedics before being taken to a local hospital.
“We believe there are people out there who have information about this shooting,” says Const. Andrew Deme of the Maskwacis RCMP.
Investigators are asking residents that were in the area during the time of the shooting to check any video doorbell or surveillance cameras and contact police.
