The RCMP are still searching for Maskwacis resident Dorian O'Shea Hunter, 23, who is currently wanted for various crimes.
The Alberta RCMP posted a renewed call for information on Hunter's whereabouts on their Facebook page for "Wanted Wednesday" on Nov. 13.
Hunter's last known location was Maskwacis and his areas of activity are Maskwacis and Wetaskiwin.
Those with any information regarding Hunter are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. RCMP advise members of the public should not approach the suspect.
Offenders for Wanted Wednesday posts are determined by a data-driven scoring system based on individuals' Crime Severity Index in order to identify individuals causing the most harm to communities, the wanted poster states.
Factors such as age, gender, race or ethnicity are not considered in the scoring process.
On June 10, Maskwacis RCMP responded to a report of a shooting in Samson Cree Nation.
Members determined multiple bullets had been fired into a residence occupied by several children and adults.
As a result of the investigation, two individuals were arrested and an arrest warrant was issued for a third suspect, Hunter.
A search warrant was also executed at a residence in Wetaskiwin where police reportedly seized prohibited firearms and magazines.
Stemming from that incident, Hunter was wanted for several firearms-related incidents and failing to comply with a release order.
