Ponoka RCMP investigate liquor theft at Hammy’s Spirits

Ponoka RCMP are looking for three suspects allegedly involved in a liquor theft at Hammy’s Spirits.

On Nov. 5 at 10:30 p.m., the Ponoka RCMP responded to a complaint of three suspects who are said to have entered the store and taken an undisclosed amount of liquor. The suspects are described as follows:

A male suspect at approximately 20 years of age with a dark coloured hoodie with “Thrasher” on it. Police say he was wearing a black ball cap with a white logo on it.

A women, also around 20-years-old, is described as wearing a dark coloured winter coat with a brown fur hood. Her hair was done up in a bun and she was wearing glasses, say police.

The second woman is also described as being 20-years-old with blonde hair in a ponytail, wearing a red off-the-shoulder sweater. Police say she was carrying a large purse/bag and has a tattoo mid-back between her shoulder blades.

Suspects were also seen later on in the evening at the 7-Eleven in Ponoka, and were observed leaving in a dark coloured van.
