Two Ponoka employees got a rude welcoming Sept. 24, when they confronted by two masked suspects when they came to work.
According to the RCMP, two offenders broke into the Dollarama during the night. When staff arrived that morning, the suspects stole their phones as well as cash from the store.
A third suspect was seen talking with the first two thieves and is believed to have waiting outside the store.
The suspects left in an unknown vehicle.
Police searched the area and the employees' phones were located outside.
No weapons were shown during the robbery and the victims were not injured.
The Ponoka RCMP is asking anyone with information about the crime or those responsible to please call the detachment at 403-783-4471.
