Ponoka RCMP received a 911 call yesterday morning that has now led to an arrest and multiple warrants being executed.

At 2:32 a.m. on March 23, 2021, the RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious parked vehicle and a male acting suspiciously outside of it. Ponoka RCMP responded, located the vehicle, and arrested the male.

Jordy Brent House, 34, was wanted on multiple arrest warrants out of Edmonton and Stony Plain. House has been remanded in custody.

The RCMP are thanking the public for their contribution to a safer Ponoka community. Calling in suspicious activity allows the RCMP the opportunity to assess potentially dangerous or criminal situations.
