Registration for session one of winter 2025 swimming lessons opens Dec. 9 starting at 10 a.m.
Participants can register at www.ponoka.ca/p/aquaplex or in person at the Ponoka Aquaplex (5315 46 Ave).
Registration for the remaining winter 2025 swimming lessons and advanced programming will open on Jan. 2 at 10 a.m. A full list of available swimming lessons and advanced programming can be found at ponoka.ca/p/aquaplex.
Paper copies are also available at the aquaplex. Winter swimming lessons and advanced programming will begin in early January.
Swim for Life® programming
All swimming lessons and advanced programming are delivered through the Swim for Life program through the Lifesaving Society.
To determine a child’s swim level in the Swim for Life program, parents and guardians are encouraged to review the transition chart at ponoka.ca/p/aquaplex; click ‘Register to Swim’ and then click on ‘Transition Chart’.
Paper copies of the transition chart are also available at the aquaplex. If you are still unsure of your child’s skill level, staff members offer free swim assessments during public swims.
