As part of their ‘Seniorosity’ program, the residents of Seasons Ponoka have initiated a project of delivering vases of flowers bi-monthly.

The first delivery was made to the transition unit at Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre.

Seniorosity residents were thrilled to share their handpicked floral arrangements, said Connie Sheltus, fun manager at Seasons Ponoka.

The next delivery is scheduled for June when Seasons Ponoka plans to bring smiles to the residents at Northcott Care Centre, she added.

“We are thrilled to see the positive impact our Seniorosity program has had on both our residents and the individuals we’ve visited.

“The joy and connection this simple gesture of delivering flowers brings is immeasurable. Our residents are excited to continue this initiative and spread happiness in our community.”

Seasons Ponoka is also taking the green thumb route by growing some of the flowers themselves.

This adds a personal touch to the deliveries and fosters a sense of pride and accomplishment amongst the residents, said Sheltus.
