Highway 2 northbound traffic is being diverted to Highway 2A

Ponoka RCMP are on scene of two-vehicle collision near Morningside.

A press release from Ponoka RCMP at 8:30 p.m. Saturday night stated that they are on scene of a two vehicle collision on Highway 2 near Morningside in the northbound lane.

Northbound traffic is being diverted to Highway 2A towards Ponoka.

Police along with emergency personnel and members of the Lacombe fire department are on scene. Traffic is expected to be delayed for several hours and no further information is available at this time.
