With temperatures forecast to climb above 20C this weekend, families are encouraged to head to the Ponoka Splash Park for one more weekend of family fun in the sun before cooler fall weather sets in.
Splash Park closes for the season on Sept. 11
Sept. 10 will be the last day to enjoy the splash park.
"Thank you to everyone for coming out and enjoying a splashing good time at the Splash Park this summer. We look forward to inviting you back for another summer season of family fun next year," noted a release.
The Splash Park annual operating season runs from June to September (weather permitting). This allows crews time to complete seasonal maintenance to ensure the park is ready for winter and can operate smoothly each year.
