There will be a temporary road closure on 51 Ave. between 50 St. and 51 St. on Sept. 6 starting at 3 p.m. for the Fall Fest on 51st event.

The parking lot on the south side of 51 Ave. will be closed starting at 9 a.m. on Sept. 6 for set up and all cars should be removed by this time, noted a release.

The road closure will remain in place until 10 p.m.

Motorists are reminded to drive with caution in the downtown area, observe road signs and watch for pedestrians. The second annual ‘Fall Fest on 51st’ will feature an evening of live music by rising star Brayden King and delicious food from various food vendors.

The event will run from 4 to 9 p.m. (weather permitting) along 51 Ave. (between 50 St. and 51 St,) and in the parking lot. Admission to the event is free. Tasting tickets will be available for purchase on site at the festival.
