There will be a temporary road closure in Ponoka on Dec. 7 for the Holiday Train event.
The road closure will be on 50 St. between 47 Ave. and 50 Ave. from about 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Motorists are asked to please drive with caution and observe ‘No Parking’ signs and barricades.
The Holiday Train will arrive in Ponoka at about 5 p.m. and will feature a live concert by the Anyway Gang from about 5:15 to 5:45 p.m.
The event is free to attend. Citizens are encouraged to bring cash or a non-perishable food donation for the Ponoka Food Bank if able.
