Registration is now open Town of Ponoka summer programs.
This summer, the Town of Ponoka is introducing new day camps:
• Splash and Create Summer Camp: Running July 14 to 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for children aged 6 to 12. Campers will build confidence in the water as they develop swimming skills, stretch their imaginations through creative projects and stay active while learning new sports. It’s a week full of fun, friendship and skill-building.
• Superhero Camp: Running August 5 to 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for children aged 6 to 12. Get ready for an exciting week as young heroes design their own costumes, build their super skills and unlock their powers through games, crafts and team missions — plus water fun every afternoon.
Town of Ponoka summer programs, including swimming lessons, advanced programming and drop-in programming at the Ponoka Arena Complex, will begin in early July and end in late August.
All swimming lessons and advanced programming at the Ponoka Aquaplex are delivered through the Swim for Life program through the Lifesaving Society.
Citizens can register online on the Town of Ponoka’s website at Ponoka.ca/p/recreation-programming or in-person at the Ponoka Aquaplex (5315 46 Avenue).
A full list of programming options can be found on the town’s website. Paper copies are also available at the Ponoka Aquaplex.
