The Town of Ponoka is partnering with the Ponoka Stampede Association to host fireworks displays at the World Chuckwagon Finals in Ponoka this weekend.
The fireworks will be staged at the Stampede grounds, which offer a central location where they can be seen throughout the community. Citizens can also view the fireworks from the Ponoka Arena Complex parking lot.
The fireworks are scheduled to begin after sunset Aug. 31.
