Before joining WCPS, Miller served in the Battle River School Division as assistant principal and acting principal of Forestburg School (K–12).

During his time there, he was a key member of the divisional curriculum implementation team, supporting the roll out of several new K–6 subject areas.

“Coleman brings a wealth of experience in curriculum leadership and school-based administration,” said Kevin Newman, assistant superintendent of Education Services.

“His background in literacy, numeracy, intervention programming, and educational technology will be an asset as we continue to support high-quality instruction and assessment practices across the division.”

"His well-rounded academic background, coupled with his practical experience in both rural and K–12 school settings, positions him well to support schools throughout WCPS," states the release.

In his new role, Miller will be focusing on curriculum, instruction and assessment.

“I am honoured to join the Education Services team and excited to collaborate with schools across the division to support student learning and instructional excellence,” said Miller.

“I look forward to contributing to the ongoing growth and success of Wolf Creek classrooms.”
