A Stettler man is back behind bars after being arrested earlier this month.

Back on May 10 at around 7:30 a.m., RCMP were called to a property north of Stettler in response to a reported suspicious person.

Officers from both Bashaw and Stettler detachments along with a Red Deer K-9 unit went to the area, where nearby residents reported seeing a man leaving what was later determined to be a stolen truck at one property then heading on foot to a neighbouring yard where an ATV was stolen.

The man was then said to have fled to a third property and attempted to steal another truck before fleeing into a residence, where he was ultimately placed under arrest.

Kyle Grams, 30, is facing numerous charges in the incident including break and enter, assault with a weapon and motor vehicle theft. He has been remanded into custody to await his next court appearance.
