Blackfalds RCMP have new photos of an armed robbery back in Jan. 5 at the Co-op Gas Bar in the Town of Blackfalds.
The incident occurred early in the morning of Jan. 5 when the two suspects entered the store with long barrel firearms. They pointed them at the store employees and demanded cash and cigarettes.
Police say the suspects left with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes, which was put in a black backpack. They fled the scene in a dark grey 4 door vehicle, possibly a Mazda, last seen heading northbound on Broadway Avenue in Blackfalds.
The two males are described as being in their teens. One is said to have been wearing a red hoodie with an emblem containing a deer. He is thought to be 12 to 16 years old.
A second male suspect is described as wearing a black Canada Goose jacket with a fur hood and black balaclava. He is estimated at being 17 to 19 years old.
