Drivers can expect a brief road closure on Hwy. 2 south of Hwy. 53 overpass starting at 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 17.

Closure will affect both northbound and southbound lanes for a short time while powerline work is in progress.

Officials are asking motorists to show respect for all roadside crews by slowing down.
