There has seen a bit of a shake up in the town’s operations department.
The Town of Ponoka is looking for a new director of operations and property services. Chris McKenna, the former director still works for the town but has stepped in as the manager of operations.
The town confirmed that Dwayne Kwolick, who was the manager of operations, is on leave. It’s unknown for how long but the current director opening is for a permanent position.
Filling the position of interim director of operations for now is Michel Savard.
The town’s staff directory list hasn’t been changed but staff changes are relatively recent.
