Edmonton RCMP: Warrant issued for dangerous man

RMCP issue a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of a man considered armed and dangerous with ties to Grande Prairie and British Columbia.

Edmonton RCMP have issued a Canada-wide warrant for Robert Alan Edward Clarke. Police say the man is considered armed and dangerous.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a man considered armed and dangerous out of Chetwynd, B.C. with ties to Grande Prairie and Nova Scotia.

Police say Robert Alan Edward Clarke, who works in the Grande Prairie area and travels to British Columbia, has charges including attempted murder, weapons offences, assault and kidnapping.

RCMP advise that the 34-year-old man is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. If seen, police advise calling 911.

He is described as Caucasian, 5'10", 166 pounds in weight, brown hair and brown eyes and has a tattoo of an eagle on his upper right arm.

The original notification came from Prince George B.C.
