Get ready for another fantastic holiday season as Ponoka’s much anticipated, self-guided Community Christmas Lights Tour returns on Dec. 4.
The tour will showcase and celebrate festively decorated homes and yards throughout the community.
“Ponoka residents invest a remarkable amount of time and effort into their Christmas light displays each year. The self-guided Christmas Lights Tour is a great opportunity for people in the community to show off their beautifully decorated homes and offers a family-fun activity that everyone can enjoy,” said Ponoka Mayor Kevin Ferguson.
Citizens are encouraged to sign up by Friday, Dec. 1 to enter their home in the Christmas Lights Tour. To enter your home, visit www.ponoka.ca/p/christmas-in-ponoka and complete the online form, or call 403-783-0131, or email email@example.com and provide your name and address.
Your location will then be added to the tour map that will be posted on the Town’s website at www.ponoka.ca/p/christmas-in-ponoka on Dec. 4.
The tour map will also be posted on social media (Facebook, Twitter/X and Instagram) @TownofPonoka. Please note that the tour map will only display the physical address of your home.
Paper copies of the map will also be available at the Ponoka Aquaplex, the arena complex, and the town office on the second floor of the Ponoka Civic Centre (5604 50 St.)
