Familiar face appointed as principal of St. Augustine School

Kari Davidson, who has been the acting principal of St. Augustine School for the past three years, has officially taken on the role of principal.

St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Schools (STAR) announced on April 5 that Davidson had been appointed to the position, effective April 6, 2022.

Davidson has 25 years of experience as an educator. Before stepping into the role of acting principal, she had been vice principal at the school for the previous five years.

She is currently completing her master’s degree in educational leadership at the University of Calgary.

Davidson has been an employee of STAR since 1997. She is recognized within the division as an “innovative and passionate leader whose commitment to Catholic education permeates all that she does.”

The board of trustees and senior administration congratulate Davidson and look forward to working with her in her new assignment as principal.
