2021 St. Augustine School graduate Brody Harder is the first recipient of the Bob Hepp Memorial Culinary Scholarship. He is receiving $500 to support his education in the Culinary Arts Program at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo BC.
The Ponoka Legion Brach No. 66 and several people in the community contributed to the scholarship fund. Students at both the Ponoka Secondary Campus and St. Augustine School who are pursuing a post secondary career in culinary arts are eligible to apply for funding. Further Scholarship awards will be given out this fall.
