Free weight-management sessions offered online

Workshops offer safe, effective strategies to keep pounds under control

Local residents are invited to learn safe and effective strategies to manage their weight by attending an Alberta Health Services (AHS) weight-management program.

Lifestyle Change: A Toolkit for Success is a free workshop led by AHS health professionals who share their expertise and guide interactive group sessions. Participants will learn how to make and keep healthy lifestyle changes, and strategies such as prioritizing, journaling, problem solving, thinking skills and goal setting. The program is open to residents 18 years of age and older.

Lifestyle Change will be held via Zoom on Jan. 28 from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
