The Ponoka and District Chamber of Commerce’s trade show is back, and the theme this year is “Get your game face on.”

“There will be something for everyone. We are very excited to have our trade show back after a two-year hiatus,” said chamber executive manager Heather Bendera.

“We have a wide array of vendors from home renos to not-for-profits. We hope everyone will come down and check it out.”

The trade show will be held the Ponoka Arena Complex from April 8 (3 to 8 p.m.) and 9 (10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

There will be a market square along with games and prizes.

Olympic speedskater Maddison Pearman will be a special guest on Friday.

The Easter Bunny will also make an appearance to take selfies with shoppers.

You can also try your hand at the slap shot hockey challenge to win a pair of Oilers tickets.

Entrance for families is $10. Adults are $4 per person, seniors and youth are $2 and children under two are free.

If you wear your favourite team apparel, you can get in for free.

Every paid admission is an entry to win an autographed women’s Team Canada hockey jersey.

Ponoka chamber members can choose to display their business banner in “Banner Alley,” as an alternative to purchasing a booth.

Businesses also have the option of hosting a chamber game booth for children to play and earn prizes.

To inquire about the availability of booths or any other questions, contact the chamber at 403-783-3888.
