It’s Miracle Treat Day in Ponoka

On Aug. 10, net proceeds from Blizzard Treat sales go to children’s hospital foundations

It’s Miracle Treat Day at participating Dairy Queen restaurants, including Ponoka’s.

On Aug. 10, the net proceeds from each Blizzard Treat sold will be donated to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, one of 12 Children’s Miracle Network hospital foundations across Canada.

In Edmonton and surrounding areas, proceeds from Miracle Treat Day will be donated to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation to support specialized equipment, programs, training and research.

The Stollery is the most specialized children’s hospital in Western Canada, responding to as many as 317,461 patient visits each year.

Miracle Treat Day is part of Dairy Queen’s annual Children’s Miracle Network fundraising campaign.

Since 2001, Dairy Queen has raised more than $9 million for the Stollery Children’s Hospital through various fundraising initiatives, including Miracle Treat Day.
