A suspected child pornography distributor is waiting a trial date after sitting on a hefty number of charges including sexual assault, child pornography distribution and gun charges.
Jason Leonard Lukat, 36, of Lacombe, faces one charge of sexual assault, one charge of touching a person under the age of fourteen, three fire arms charges, one drug charge and six charges related to the distribution and possession of child pornography in the Ponoka area.
Lukat is scheduled for an arraignment May 18 in Wetaskiwin provincial court where a trial date will be set.
