Mainroad Group is warning local residents of a scam in the area.
Individuals are trespassing on private property to solicit business in a fraudulent manner.
On April 19, Mainroad Operations received a phone call from a concerned resident located West of Ponoka stating that a group of workers came onto their private property representing “Mainroad” and offering to fill potholes and pave the driveway.
Mainroad stated in a press release that this was fraudulent and strongly advised residents to report any suspicious activity to the local RCMP.
