RCMP in Maskwacis are investigating a fatal collision on Hwy 2A, north of the Maskwacis townsite.
At approximately 9:35 p.m. on Sept. 18, Maskwacis RCMP received a report of a pedestrian collision on Hwy. 2A north of the townsite.
On arrival, one person was found deceased as a result of the collision.
The investigation is ongoing a this time and an RCMP Collision analyst is assisting.
Traffic was diverted while the investigation took place.
