Maskwacis RCMP arrested and charged four people with a multitude of charges in an alleged home invasion involving knives and a gun that injured three people.

With assistance from Wetaskiwin RCMP officers responded to a 911 call at 12:22 a.m. on Jan. 12 at a residence on the Samson Cree First Nation.

Police believe four suspects entered a home armed with knives and guns. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the occupants of the house but no shots were fired, say police.

There were several residents in the home, three of whom suffered from stab wounds and were transported to an area hospital.
