UPDATE: RCMP say Thom has been found.
The Ponoka RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 18-year-old Aboriginal woman.
Taneasha Thom was last seen leaving an apartment complex on 55 Street in Ponoka on Jan. 9 at approximately 6:45 pm. It is believed that Thom may be in the Red Deer area.
Thom is described as:
- 5'2"
- 77 kg
- Brown eyes
- Bleached blonde hair with one side shaved
- Last seen wearing bedazzled jeans
