Chamber initiative shows Ponoka shops local

The haul from the Ponoka and District Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 Passport to Christmas event could be described in one word: “cha-ching.”

Over 9,421 passports were completed and turned in, amounting to over $2.8 million in sales at local businesses.

Ponoka residents shopped local, but 1,482 of the passports turned in were from those who live out of town.
