Ponoka Detachment have charged Derek Moore, 41 years of age, with numerous counts of fraud. These charges arose from a number of cheques written by Moore and were returned as the account did not contain sufficient funds. Central Alberta Police agencies are presently investigating several more reports of similar offences. Moore is presently wanted on outstanding warrants arising from these charges. If anyone has any information in regards to the where about of Moore or similar offences they are urged to contact their local police service or local RCMP Detachment.
