Two men are in custody more than two years after the crime they allegedly committed.
Shawn Metzger, 27, of Red Deer and 29-year-old Robert Handy of no fixed address were arrested Sept. 11 and facing upwards of 27 charges each.
The charges include two counts each of pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon and forcible confinement plus robbery and possession of a dangerous weapon.

Both men made brief appearances in front of a judge in Ponoka Provincial Court on Sept. 11 and were remanded for their next court appearance.
It isn’t known if the police are continuing to look for other suspects that may have been involved.
