This Veterans’ Week, which was observed Nov. 5 to 11, 2019, each Seasons Retirement Community launched their annual Pennies for Poppies program, honouring the many heroes that call Seasons home.

In collaboration with our local Royal Canadian Legions, residents, staff and visitors donate money to the Poppy Campaign. Each donor receives a paper poppy to write their name on, so we may display it proudly in our home. Additionally, they “plant” a beautiful garden of paper poppies outdoors, as a visual display of our promise to never forget.

All money collected at Seasons during the Pennies for Poppies program was donated to local Royal Canadian Legions.
