Vehicles hit the ditch: Blowing wind and slush may have contributed to this truck and trailer hitting the ditch April 14 just after 8 a.m.

The incident occurred north of Ponoka on Highway 2 during the spring storm that hit central Alberta. At the time there was a smattering of snow and rain along with blowing wind with wind gusts at 35 km/h.

Here members of the Ponoka County East District Fire Department handle the scene.

At the same time another vehicle entered the centre median just south of the truck and trailer, however there were no injuries from that incident.

At the time it was unclear if there were any injuries.
