Saying goodbye: The staff of Ponoka Elementary School gathered outside with signs, balloons and waves for the students that showed up, on all forms of transport, for a drive-thru farewell on June 19 between 2 and 3 p.m. It was the first time students had seen the staff since in-classroom instruction was halted three months earlier.
