Ponoka emergency crews responded to the call of a rollover Sunday night just after 6 p.m.

EMS, as well as Ponoka RCMP and the Ponoka County East District Fire Department attended the scene on Highway 53 just east of town.

It appears a white GMC Sierra was westbound about 10 kms east of town when it hit rolled and landed on its roof in the north ditch.

There was one female driver at the time who is believed to have sustained only minor injuries.

The cause of the collision is not known, however, it had just started raining at the time.
