Ponoka and District Chamber of Commerce members heard a presentation on mental health in the workplace during their meeting on March 15.
Chamber president Sherry Gummow said the presentation by Lisa Hagemann from the Ponoka Mental Health and Addiction Centre was “so timely, with very usable information provided about mental health.”
Hagemann spoke about mental health first aid.
The meeting was held at the Ponoka Golf Club and included a dinner.
The trade fair is back in Ponoka this year, taking place on April 8 sand 9.
“We’re sort of starting from scratch as the last trade fair was held in April 2019,” said Gummow.
“The market square is filling up. There’s something for most everyone in the family.”
Anyone wanting a booth for the trade fair can contact executive manager Heather Bendera.
The next general meeting is scheduled for May 17 and the topic will be “Marketing your Business.”
