Family Fun Day offers fun and entertainment for all ages including:

• Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus;

• A petting farm (weather permitting);

• A magic show by Kyle the Magician; and

• Hot dogs, lots of other yummy treats and refreshments.

Family Fun Day will be held at the Stagecoach Saloon at the Ponoka Stampede Grounds from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For more event details and to purchase tickets, please visit the Ponoka Festival of Tree’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ponokafestivaloftrees/events/?ref=page_internal.

Tickets will also be available at the door.

“The Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre is a vital part of our community because it plays a critical role in helping to look after the health and wellness of our residents,” said Ponoka Mayor Kevin Ferguson in a release.

In previous years, the Town of Ponoka has sponsored Ponoka Festival of Trees’ Breakfast with Santa and other Family Fun Day events.

In 2020 and 2021 when the Ponoka Festival of Trees was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of Ponoka made financial contributions to PDHF to assist with renovations and equipment purchases at the Ponoka hospital.
