Highway 2 conditions south of Ponoka for Jan.4 are extremely slippery.
Just four days into the new year members of the Ponoka Integrated Traffic Unit are dealing with multiple collisions and rollovers south of Ponoka due to wintry road conditions.
As of noon, Jan. 4, it is believed areas of Highway 2 south of Ponoka and north of Lacombe are extremely slippery with tow trucks struggling to keep up with the number of vehicles needing a town.
EMS and fire crews are heading to one scene of a single vehicle rollover.
