Two females are facing charges following a late night disturbance complaint on Feb. 9 at the 7-Eleven store.

At 11:37 p.m., Ponoka RCMP received a complaint that two females were destroying property inside the store. RCMP attended and the two females had fled the store.

The store was observed to be in a state of disarray with items strewn around the store, and damage done to various pieces of electronic equipment. The extent of the damage led to malfunctioning gas pumps and an overall disruption in operations.

A complaint at 11:52 p.m., alerted the RCMP to an apartment where the two suspect females were located and arrested.

Taylor Alyssa Threefingers (23) and a youth, who cannot be named are each charged with mischief. At the time of her arrest, Taylor Threefingers had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to comply with a probation order.

Threefingers faces further charges of failing to comply with a probation order and uttering threats.

The youth was released on conditions, and Threefingers, who was subject to a hearing, was released by the Justice. She is scheduled to attend Provincial court in Ponoka on March 5, 2021.
